Meet the Ram DC650.

Fox Factory × Direct Connection

This is not another Ram 1500 Big Horn. This is the Ram 1500 DC650 — a Whipple-supercharged 5.7L HEMI street truck built by Fox Factory Vehicles with Mopar's Direct Connection. 650 hp. 600 lb-ft. Lowered on Ridetech coilovers. 22-inch black wheels on 305/40R22 Michelin performance tires. On the ground in Murray, Kentucky — right now.

What The DC650 Actually Is

Ram Never Sat Still. Neither Did We.

When Ram killed the TRX at the end of 2024, an entire audience was left without a factory-authorized V8 performance truck. Fox Factory Vehicles and Mopar's Direct Connection division answered that with the Ram 1500 Lowered — DC650: a street-biased performance pickup that puts the supercharged HEMI back where it belongs.

Ram sat still for one model year. Then it came back louder than it left.

The DC650 starts as a factory 2026 Ram 1500 Big Horn Night Edition. Fox Factory then adds a 3.0-liter Whipple Gen 6 twin-screw supercharger, an air-to-water intercooler, upgraded fuel injectors, a tuned T304 cat-back exhaust, Ridetech coilovers that drop it three inches up front and five and a half in the rear, tubular control arms, rear traction bars, 22-inch blackout wheels, 305/40R22 performance tires, a splitter, a spoiler, Direct Connection leather with gold contrast stitching, and a serialized center-console badge that says out loud what everyone else has to guess.

The base 5.7L HEMI makes 395 horsepower. The DC650 makes 650. That's 255 more horsepower than a standard 2026 Ram 1500 HEMI — and it still tows 11,320 lbs, still carries 1,910 lbs of payload, and still services at any Ram dealer in the country.

The Engine

A 5.7L Hemi With A Whipple Strapped To The Top Of It.

The DC650 keeps the eTorque mild-hybrid system that makes the base HEMI so drivable — then bolts a 3.0-liter Whipple Gen 6 twin-screw supercharger on top for instant, repeatable boost. A dual-pass air-to-water intercooler keeps intake charge temperatures under control. Upgraded high-performance fuel injectors and .032-gapped plugs make sure it can actually breathe what the blower is pushing.

The Stance

Lowered On Ridetech. Not Slammed On A Kit.

The DC650 sits three inches lower in the front and five-and-a-half inches lower in the rear on a factory-tuned Ridetech coilover setup. Tubular control arms sharpen turn-in. Rear traction bars kill wheel hop under acceleration. The dampers are adjustable, so it rides like a truck on the highway and hooks up like a street car when you want it to.

Pick Your DC650.

We took two 2026 Ram 1500 DC650 builds — one in Diamond Black Crystal Pearlcoat, one in Silver Zynith. Both are Crew Cab 4x4 trucks with the full Fox Factory Direct Connection upfit, both are priced at $80,684 David Taylor Transparent Price, and both are on the ground in Murray, Kentucky, ready to drive home today.

The Objection

Why Is This Ram $80,684?

Here is the honest math, straight off the window sticker. A standard Ram 1500 Big Horn is about a $55,000 truck. This one has $31,000 of Fox Factory Direct Connection content bolted, welded, wired, tuned and warrantied onto it — every dollar accounted for on the VDP.

The reason the transparent price still lands at $80,684 is because David Taylor is applying a $10,431 David Taylor Advantage discount plus the current 12% national standalone rebate on top of MSRP — before any additional buyer-specific rebates like the Automobility Program or 2026 Military Bonus Cash.

Pricing shown includes standard incentives and excludes tax, title and license. Additional manufacturer rebates and incentives may apply for qualified buyers. Offer valid through 08/31/2026.

Worth The Drive

Two Of These Anywhere Nearby.

A supercharged HEMI street truck like this doesn't show up in your local Ram inventory every week. The Ram 1500 DC650 is a specialty low-volume build by Fox Factory Vehicles — and DTC Murray currently has two of them ready to go, in the middle of a market that stretches from Nashville to St. Louis. It's worth the drive.

Straight Answers

The Questions People Actually Ask.

What is the Ram 1500 DC650?
The DC650 is a factory-authorized 2026 Ram 1500 built by Fox Factory Vehicles in partnership with Mopar's Direct Connection performance division. The 5.7L HEMI V8 is fitted with a 3.0L Whipple Gen 6 twin-screw supercharger for 650 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque, paired with a Ridetech coilover lowering suspension, 22-inch wheels on 305/40R22 performance tires, a tuned cat-back exhaust, and a full Direct Connection appearance and interior package.
Why is this truck priced around $80,000?
The DC650 adds roughly $31,000 of specialty Fox Factory / Direct Connection content to the factory Ram 1500 Big Horn — the Whipple supercharger and Gen 6 blower, air-to-water intercooler, Ridetech coilovers, 22-inch wheels and 305-section tires, cat-back exhaust, splitter and spoiler, Direct Connection leather interior, gold accents and badging, plus a dedicated 3-year / 36,000-mile performance warranty. This is a low-volume specialty truck, not a standard Ram 1500. See the full breakdown above.
Is the DC650 factory-backed and can any Ram dealer service it?
Yes. Fox Factory covers the DC650 upfit with a 3-year / 36,000-mile limited warranty. The base 2026 Ram 1500 retains its standard Ram factory warranty, and service is available at any Stellantis / Ram Truck dealership across the United States, including DTC Murray.
How does the DC650 compare to a Ram TRX or Ford Raptor?
The DC650 is a street-biased performance truck rather than a desert runner. It sits lower rather than higher, wears 22-inch street wheels rather than off-road tires, and pushes 650 supercharged horsepower to the pavement. The closest comparisons are the Fox Factory Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Lowered and Ford F-150 Lowered — and at $89,995 base MSRP, the DC650 is the most affordable of the three lowered street trucks in the Fox Factory lineup.
What fuel does it need?
93 octane preferred, 91 octane minimum, per the Direct Connection Fox Factory upfit specification.
Does the supercharger affect towing and payload?
No — capability is preserved. The DC650 retains the standard Ram 1500 Crew Cab 4x4 towing capacity of 11,320 lbs and increases payload to 1,910 lbs (up from 1,650 on the base Big Horn).
Can I finance a DC650 through David Taylor?
Yes. We work with the same national and regional lenders on the DC650 as any other new Ram 1500 in our inventory. Payment estimates are available on each truck's VDP, and our finance team can pre-qualify you before you make the drive to Murray.
Will you take a trade toward the DC650?
Yes. We buy trades from anywhere in our regional market — you don't have to buy the DC650 to sell us your vehicle. Bring it to Murray or send photos and mileage for a preliminary offer.
